The Utley #2 Well ~ 8/16/2014 ~ This well was a marginal well in southern IL making about 1.5 bbls of oil a day. Prior to the Production Enhancement treatment that the Hyper Scratcher system provides no perforations were observed and the casing had considerable scale on the casing surface. After the treatment all of the perforations were easily observed and the appearance of the casing was as can be seen like burnished SS. The hope was to observe fluid coming out of the perforations but the well was too skinny. In fact the perforations at the lower portion of the well were actually taking water. When the fluid was pulled off, the well cleaned up and started making about 3-4 bbls a day.
Utley #2 ~ 7/26/2014
The Pollard #2 ~ December, 2013 – January, 2014 ~ This well from southern Illinois was a good producing well making a day about 10 bbls but it had been an outstanding well and IP’d for over 100 bbls a day. Post procedure it made in excess of 60 bbls a day and leveled off at about 25-30 bbls a day. The most amazing thing is that out of two perforations that were spaced 90 degrees apart the oil is shooting out of the perforation similar to a garden hose.
